Philippine Facility Birth Rates
Interactive charts ranking Philippine regions by births delivered in health facilities. View regional trends using clean data sourced from the PSA.
What the data shows
This dataset tracks the percentage of births that occur in a health facility (hospitals, birthing homes, clinics) rather than at home. It is a key indicator of maternal healthcare access.
Nationwide, the proportion is high, but significant gaps remain between regions. The National Capital Region (NCR) and other urbanized areas consistently show near-100% facility births, while rural or remote regions (like BARMM) show lower rates.
The chart below ranks all regions from highest to lowest for 2025.
